Hardi Board used around the perimeter of the shower after the tiles, I can the green panel on the roof? I am with green boxes for the rest of bathroom.Does light in the shower should be in a race GFI?

Council in the green roof has a tendency to fall. I would be 5 / 8 drywall, Zinsser first mark, then use paint with oil to water to Deter. I have a lot (I'm) a general contractor and I've never been disappointed.
As for the GFCI circuit, check local codes. If you buy a light that is rated for wet locations (eg, whether it is) in the box.
